Ge 6:2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.
4 ¶ There were giants (Nephilim or Tree Fellers) in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
Jer 22:7 And I will prepare destroyers against thee, everyone with his weapons: and they shall cut down thy choice cedars, and cast them into the fire.
Pr 22:14 ¶ The mouth of strange women is a deep pit: he that is abhorred of the LORD shall fall therein.
Pr 2:16; 5:3; 7:5; 23:27; Ec 7:26
Greens literal version Gen 6:4 – The giants were in the earth in those days, and even afterward when the sons of God came into the daughters of men, and they bore to them; they were heroes which existed from ancient time, the men of name.
Victor Alexander’s Aramaic Translation Gen 6:4 – And they were giants* in the earth, in those ages and even later, because the sons of God entered upon the daughters of men, and there was born to them aliens,* who were giants* of universal* fame.
Peshitta Classical Syriac translation – Gen 6:4 And giants were in the earth in those days, also after this, because the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men and they gave birth to the giants that were from of old, the Heroes of fame.
6:5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
The Sons of God people led by the Holy Spirit) were taking wives who were not led by the Holy Spirit and the Earth is said to be wicked/corrupt except for Noah.
Ge 6:12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.
Noah walked with God but the rest of the people on the Earth were corrupt.
God waited until the Ark was made before flooding the Earth.
1Pe 3:20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.
Instead of using a flood to destroy the corrupt God now uses “fire”.
2Pe 3:6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

Genesis 5:3 states that Adam bore Children in His “fallen” likeness, however, Enoch was not found in that “likeness”.
Ge 5:1 ¶ This is the book of the generations of Adam…
Ge 5:24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not (In Adams likeness); for God took him.
Enoch could no longer be referred to as “Generated by Adam” after the age of 65.
Although Enoch lived 365 years He was “translated” or “Taken” by God at 65.
He began to walk with God at the age of 65 after Methuselah’s birth.
Ge 5:22 And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:
24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God “took” him.
The New Testament would use the term “Born Again” to describe the point in a person’s life when they begin to be led by God’s Spirit, Rm 8:14.
In Gen 5, the same point in Enoch’s life was described as “being Translated”.
Enoch was delivered out of the power of darkness, as Col 1:13 phrases the concept.
New Covenant believers are described as having been “translated” in Col 1:13 using a synonym of the Greek word that the author of Hebrews used to describe Enoch”s translation in Heb 11:5.

Heb 11:5 By faith Enoch was translated (Strong’s 3446 – metatithemi) that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
Enoch “walked in the Spirit” for 300 years and could be called a “Son of God” according to Romans 8:14.
Ro 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. (KJV)
As a “Son of God” Enoch was included in the group of Old Testament people who had faith, Heb 11.
According to Genesis 6 people who “were led by God’s Spirit” existed in those days, and some of them had Children with women who were “not led by the Spirit”.

Ge 6:4 ¶ There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, “the same” became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
These Children appear to be referred to as “Nephilim or mighty Men of renown”.
Gen 6:4 also suggests that these Children existed “After” those days. Some people feel that this means after Noah’s flood.
When a Believer marries an Unbeliever and their child rejects “faith” can that Child be described using the Old Testament term “Nephilim” or “Feller”?
The literal definition of Strong’s # 5303 Nephilim is “Feller” or “One who causes (others) to fall.
Could the word “Nephilim” be used “today” to identify the “Unregenerate” group of people who are born to families where one parent has been translated or “Born again” and one parent is not “Born Again”?

Jesus said that a person cannot see the Kingdom of God unless they are born from above,Jn 3:3.
Jn 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
It is clear that Enoch saw this from Jude 1:14.
Jude 1:14 KJV — And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,

A suggested example of this type of “offspring” is seen in Genesis 16.
Ge 16:11 And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Behold, thou art with child, and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael; because the LORD hath heard thy affliction. 12 And he will be a wild (06501 pere’) man; his hand will be against every man, and every man’s hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.
Regarding the Gesenius interpretation of (Strong’s 06501 pere’), the descendants of such a union could be referred to as a “Wild” ass – (through the idea or “it’s running).
The Brown-Driver-Briggs Hebrew Lexicon suggests the concept of “willfulness” referencing the use of (Strong’s 06501) pere’ in Hosea 8:9.
Given the Abrahamic example of this type of descendant coming from Abraham and Hagar (Ishmael), the latter seems more appropriate when compared to Heb 10:26.
Heb 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins.

For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband; otherwise your children would be unclean, but now they are holy 1 Corinthians 7:14. Enoch was ‘transposed’ (see the Hebrew), which is a matter of re-positioning. It is nothing whatsoever to do with the fact of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit being called a ‘regeneration’. –

With reference to 1 Cor 1:14 – Zodhiates in His Complete Word Study Dictionary of the New Testament states that the concept of “This transferred Holiness” shoud not be taken as an indication of “salvation”. With reference to the Greek Word translated as “Holy”, which is – Hagiazo (Strong’s #37) this concept should not be construed to mean “salvation”. In such a situation “The unbeliever” comes under a special and direct spiritual influence, and the benefits from the divine favor in the life of the believer that they are associated with. brmicke
